Bo had nearly blurted out a "seriously" when the girl(s) had approached him about this. It sounded... well, kind of reasonable, actually, but a little odd given their circumstances and all. Bo did suppose that it made at least some sense given that he was a guy and guys were generally good for this sort of thing. It just struck Bo as a fairly odd request to have.
Still, he put on his cap and headed on up to the room, going with some determination. He'd probably just been the first person they'd seen and asked, but Bo still planned on doing what needed doing. And what needed doing in this case was quite simple, and it would hopefully help.
Bo didn't need to knock: the door room was already open for him. He simply pushed it aside, poked his head in and looked around. "Right," he said, nodding, "where's this ugly lookin' bug that needs takin' care of?" Because of course you get the country boy to handle the creepy crawlie; why else would they be seeking him out?

”AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” She had let out a pretty damn loud scream when she had seen the little spider, to her it was a gigantic monster, to most others it would probably be nothing. This was what she had people take care of for her back home, this was absolutely not something Victoria would ever deal with herself, it was disgusting!
She had rushed out of her room to find somebody who could save her and get the monster out of her room. Yes, big strong male! Perfect! That was exactly what she had needed, she had explained that there was a gigantic huge disgusting scary bug in her room and begged for him to help her, he seemed a bit slow but he would do.
She had hurried back to her room to make sure it was still there, she didn’t need it to hide in her bed or her clothes, imagine the horror? “What took you so long!?” She complained as Bo arrived at her room “It’s under my bed! I saw it! It’s horrible!” She whined and pointed at the bed. “Kill it! Please kill it! But don’t make a mess okay? I don’t want bug blood in my room!” She demanded.
Bo looked at the young girl. She was about a foot stomp from being a cliche, and he was almost tempted to point that out to her. were his manners not in full force right now, he very likely would have. Instead Bo merely nodded, holding up his hands in what he hoped was a reassuring manner.
"I came as quick as I could," he said, making sure to speak slowly and firmly, wanting at least someone in the room to be calm. Plus, if Bo got worked up, things could go south in a hurry. "Under your bed?" he repeated, looking toward the bit of furniture in specific. The girl kept ranting about killing it but not spreading the blood. Strange, they usually didn't want it dead quite so viciously. Part of Bo was almost tempted to try and save it regardless, but he didn't quite want to push it.
Bo moved over, kneeling by the bed. He paused then, looking at the girl. "You okay with my lookin' down here?" he asked, jerking his head toward the bed. "Might need to give it a lift too." that depended on how good the bug was at hiding. At least Bo knew he could lift the bed, one handed, if need be.

Asking her if she was okay with him looking under the bed caused her to roll her eyes “Duhh, I just told you the bug is under the bed, how can you kill it if you don’t look under the bed? I’m not asking you to try and kill it with your eyes closed” she was upset at how stupid that question had been, she was not even trying to hide what she was thinking about this man right now.
“Lift it, move it, I don’t care, just get rid of the bug” how much she missed the help back home right now, they would have already fixed this problem ages ago, the guy was probably just really slow, but then why didn’t the school fire him? She would have gotten her daddy to fire slow help right away, like how could anyone even live like this?
“How much do they pay you?” With how poor service he was giving her, she assumed it couldn’t be much, paying people more could sometimes inspire them to do a better job right? That was logical to her “I can pay you if you do a good job here” she was acting as if this was a very big and important job, which it really was in her eyes, how could she live in a disgusting bug infested room!?
Bo just gave her a long look as she literally "duhed" him. He didn't even realize people were still doing that; wasn't that a thing back when he was a kid? He had to be older than her, for sure. Still, she didn't mind his moving the bed, so Bo bent down, getting ready to get to work.
And he adopted what so many blue-collar work for hire types had been doing for years: he all but ignored the person "hiring" him as he went to work. in this case, Bo shifted to pick up the bed slightly with one arm, while using the other as a sort of balance, all but using his body as a jack. He could still hear her offer for money, and he did figure that, at the least, required something of a response.
"I ain't doin' it for extra money," he said, looking around for the spider. "An' I think it's hidin' back behind... is that a library book?" he reached out, before realizing that he couldn't quite hit it with his hands. So instead, he shifted, moving to try and nudge it with his foot. Of course, this likely wasn't going to be conducive to the spider holding still...
