Kentaro was pretty psyched up about this camping trip. He was probably not a good supervisor to have as there was a high chance he’d be the one doing the stuff they shouldn’t. It was not like he bothered to give more than a quick look at the list of recommendations and warnings they offered everyone about the surrounding woods. Don’t eat the berries and watch the plants, some are bad, he got it. Did they really need more? Since there were plenty of other adults who could care about that, Kentaro focused on what was asked of him more specifically.

He was aware that being put in charge of the ‘general activities’ pretty much meant they didn’t know what else to have him do. It was not like he was a great cook and he didn’t know these woods well enough to watch over the kids while they explored the area. Not to add that he got lost with an app telling him where to go once, so finding his way in the woods was out of the question. General activities it was then. The kids had been pretty quick to get the truth or dare running as they arrived but there were other suggested activities and perhaps there could think of more. But first, he needed to talk with the other supervisors on how they would do and watch over those activities.

He couldn’t find Kasey but he caught glimpse of this Riley guy as he walked out of his cabin for breakfast. A quick look sufficed to say he was not a morning person but that did not stop Kentaro who plastered a bright smile on his face and joined him. “Mind if I sit here?” The question had to be rhetorical for he was already sitting, not waiting on an answer from the man. “We need to start thinking about what activity we can organize next and how to do it.”

The guy was quite right; Riley was not a morning person. In fact, he wasn't much of an anything person. When he heard the voice, a scowl turned upwards and he was about to tell the guy no, though it was apparent that the guy, whoever he was, wasn't about to allow any replies. Huffing, Riley's attention turned back towards his food where he'd hopefully be able to eat in peace.

He wasn't that lucky it seemed.

Tossing a sideways glance at the man, Riley was tempted to scoff. "Excuse me?" he asked, head tilting. No one else had included him and that for good reason. So, why was this guy trying to? Taking a bite of his food, Riley chewed slowly as if to avoid any further conversation.

He had a feeling it wouldn't be quite that easy, though.

Kentaro brushed off the stare he got from the man, just like he paid no attention at any sound of annoyance and disapproval he may throw his way. He was in a good mood. Actually, he was in his usual mood, it just happened that his level of energy and happiness was naturally high. He began to explain why he was here, why they needed to talk like this while eating breakfast. They couldn’t wait for the evening, they would have lost an entire day and they needed to organize themselves now.

At Riley’s question, Kentaro blinked once and stared back at him. Did he express himself badly again? He knew he had an accent but he thought it was easy to get what he was saying. “We’re in charge of the general activities,” he began to say, slowly in case it was indeed his accent that was the problem here. “We need to choose which activity we do next and how we’ll organize it.” Talking slowly was tough though. For once, you felt like you treated the person you talked to like an idiot. And, let’s be honest, you had to force yourself. Kentaro couldn’t do it for more than two sentences. “The students will probably pick themselves what they want to do, but we have to supervise, make sure they stay... no, I suppose they would stay legal but probably not morally right.” He could just imagine what could happen if you threw a bunch of kids with flashlight to play tag at night. There had to be a few that would pull away to make out somewhere. “We’re in charge, no? So we have to give the example and start something that involves everyone.” Kentaro was enthusiastic about it, even if, as an adult, he wasn’t supposed to have as much, let alone more, fun than the students. As for Riley, it was clear he aimed for as little fun as possible. At least in the morning.

Even as the man continued speaking, Riley simply stared at him. Stared at him like he was some kind of annoying bug that wouldn't leave him the hell alone. Eyes narrowed further as the man continued on and on and at some point, Riley wished he could just tune him out. Let the words be static noise, but sadly, that wasn't part of his list of abilities. Now, if he wanted to find the guy, that would surely be easy. Not that Riley could ever really think of himself in a position where he'd actively look for this guy - or anyone, for that matter.

"Sounds like you'll be busy then," he replied, turning his attention back to his food. Why had Riley been put on this? Who in their right mind thought he'd be good at supervising anything? Being a security official and hunting people done, sure, he could do that. He didn't even mind catching people in the deed, but watching over a bunch of teenagers? Hell no.

"Sounds like you got it all covered."

Kentaro ignored Riley’s stare. He was absolutely oblivious to it as he talked to try and have the man work with him. Kentaro was excited about this trip and wanted to do as much as possible but he also felt as though his position required that he worked with other staff members here. However, he could see that Riley had no desire to do that which only made Kentaro wonder why he came here in the first place. Surely there were people more willing to do it than him. But Kentaro was caught with him and he wanted to make it work, for the students’ sake. That would suck for them otherwise.

“We’ll be busy,” he corrected. He had no intention to leave him alone just like that, not without a bit more fight first. He was aware there was another guy supervising the general activities but he got a hold of this one, he might as well start with him. “Come on, we’re supposed to organize activities, we can’t just tell them to stay in their cabin the whole time.” That certainly would suck. He tried to remember a few of the activities suggested on the list and stuff he did himself. He remembered some pseudo ghost hunt he did once as a teenager, maybe there was a way to incorporate it. Sadly, he didn't know how it was organize, all he could really remember was how he participated and forgot to reach the top because he was too busy flirting with a girl all night. Yeah, maybe it was not that good of an idea after all...

“Hey, you volunteered to be a part of this. What do you normally do?” he asked. If it was the change of work that annoyed him, maybe there was a way to make it part of his job. Who knows, maybe he was a teacher and they could use his knowledge for something. He looked at Riley and wondered exactly what he could be teaching though. He had an attitude about as bad as the teenagers they were watching over.
