"Hellooooooo, s'there anyone out'ere?" Alex giggled and snorted. The glass bottle that was dangling from one of her hands was three quarters of the way empty and she was smashed from the six pack she'd had prior to taking a walk out in the woods. She was pretty certain that she knew where she was going, towards Ash's cabin to tell him all about her awful trip up with the security guard from hell. She hadn't said so much as two words to her brother since she arrived, nor had she decided to give anyone a hard time in her cabin even though there were prime time targets.
She had become a ticking time bomb the moment the asshole had confirmed all of the awful things that she thought daily. It was amazing how someone she'd spent a short while with in a closed space had completely demolished her normalcy. Ashton was the one who'd taken care of her their whole lives, of course she felt like a burden and dead weight to him, but he'd always been there and he'd never complained. She always just thought it was because he loved her and didn't mind, she never thought it was because he felt trapped by her.
The deeper in the woods she got, the more it became apparent that she wasn't anywhere near Ash's cabin. She was lost in the woods, drunk off her ass with no one to look for her because who would even notice she was gone? She giggled again and tipped the bottle back against her lips, missing her mouth and wasting the rest of the alcohol down her shirt and jacket.
"Helloooooo," She tripped over a log in her path and fell to the ground, the bottle rolling away from her. Alex curled up on the ground.
