Paul had gotten his paper with what he was assigned to. Paul only read enough of the paper to know which cabin he was in. He would read the rest of it later. He too was buzzing with excitement. A week out in nature. A week with no classes. Paul was looking forward to having fun. The first thing at hand was to find cabin number three. Paul grabbed his things and started towards the cabins.
It was easy to find the third cabin. Paul stood outside the door. He didn't know who his cabin mates were going to be. Unless it was written on the paper that Paul didn't fully read. So, there was only one way to find out. He opened the door. To Paul's surprise no one else was here. There was no evidence that someone here and left. The teen stood in the doorway trying to decide what to do. He could wait for everyone to get here before claiming a bed. Or first come, first served.
He entered the cabin. He tossed his things on the second bed on the left. Paul wasn't totally claiming the bed his. But he knew he didn't want a bed by the door. If a wild animal got in Paul didn't want to be first. So, he let one of his cabin mates to be first in that situation. Paul sat at the foot of the bed. He took the time to read the rest of his paper.
It was another day where Gem could expose himself to new things or a refreshing scenery. He whistled his way to the cabins. He counted "1, 2, and 3~" as he walk towards the third cabin.
The door was slightly opened when he was there, he was sure that someone was inside. He pushed the door and entered with small steps. As he saw a guy sitting in one of the bed, excitement and nervousness filled him. He turned around to close the door and perambulated to the bed by the door. He could split himself to two if the cabin was to be attacked by something, he felt that the bed was left vacant for him to protect the cabin.
As this half Korean boy felt the need to show some manners to the stranger sleeping in the same cabin, he left his luggages on his bed and shyly walked to the guy sitting on the bed. "Bonjour~ Nice to meet you, I am Gémeaux. Please call me Gem," introduced Gem as he bowed towards the guy generously.

Considering how eager the boy was to go on the cabin retreat, it was surprising that he did not immediately check into his room so he can go off and do whatever it was that he intended to do. When the bus arrived at the site, him and his friends had took off to look around the area first and of course took a bunch of pictures that would surely be uploaded onto their Instagrams and Twitters later on.
After that, Phillip took his two bags and trudged up to Cabin 3. He opened the door and was greeted with the sight of Gem's arse. Eyes widened, his mind quickly process what was happening. Could it be, the boy was actually bowing? A snicker almost escaped him if he had not put his hand over his mouth.
Since someone was already bowing... "Greetings fellow subjects!" he said suddenly. "It is I, Prince Phillip. Please hold your applause." He waved like how he thought a royal would, basically he was swirling his hands in the air.

Jimmy couldn’t believe his luck. He had no idea whether he’d be admitted to the trip or not but the school must have determined there would be enough adults to watch over him to make it possible. All the way to the National Park, Jimmy had been ecstatic and reaching the destination only amplified the feeling. There were just so many new things to see he didn't even know where to look at. It made it very hard for him to focus, something that was already difficult for the poor boy. He had been handed a sheet but there were a lot of words on it and he was not quite sure he’d be able to read it all. He tried, but then the view took all of his attention.
Jimmy grabbed his things and watched as everyone else seemed to know where to go. He did not and this was how he ended up in the wrong cabin at first, as he followed someone. Luckily, they told him his cabin number was written on his paper and he saw the 3 written down very clearly. Now, he only needed to find cabin number three. It took him a bit of turning around but, once again, someone had been kind enough to direct him towards the right path.
Eventually, Jimmy found his way to cabin number three. It was a good thing for his bag started to be heavy on his frail shoulders. As he walked in, he saw three guys already there. None of them appeared old enough to be the one in charge, but Jimmy was terrible with age. He smiled though as he at least recognized one of these faces.
He saw most beds had been claimed, bags already on them, so Jimmy merely took the first one he reached before heading towards the guys. “What is it saying?” he asked them as he showed them his paper, pointing at the activity he had been assigned to. Survival Safety. He was not quite sure what those words mean. And he had yet started going through the rest of the paper.
Okay, so distractions had kept Marcus from getting to the cabin placed under his care quite as early as he'd hoped. He trudged across the campground, grumbling under his breath. He didn't really want to be here. He'd much rather be at home in his climate controlled home with his dog and a fresh bottle of whiskey instead of walking around the middle of nowhere during the Montana winter. These were hardly the worst conditions he'd been thrown into. At least he was going to be in a cabin and there were showers nearby and the food was going to be fresh. Then there was the whole people not shooting at him thing. That was definitely a plus.
If Marcus was going to be stuck out here he was at least going to have fun.
The former Army Ranger rolled his shoulders as he approached cabin 3. His neck twisted with an audible pop at the same moment the casual stride turned into the determined stomps that could only come from a man who was absolutely over this shit mere minutes after it had started. He paused only long enough to lift a booted foot into the cabin door, causing it to fly open and crash against the opposite wall.
"Alright you little shit stains!" Marcus boomed as he tromped into the cabin, ripping the dark sunglasses off his face and glowering at the students within. He regarded each one of them in turn with nothing but malice and barely contained rage showing in his visage. "Listen up." The tone lowered but still projected like a sergeant addressing his troops after a bad day. It was a demeanor that fit Marcus like an old, comfortable glove. "Your sorry carcasses are mine for the duration of this trip and if you don't want me to be up your ass like the most pissed off hemorrhoid you could possibly imagine, you're going to listen to every fucking word I say." He moved through the cabin as he spoke, his tone intense and deadly serious. "First order is you're going to clean this cabin, top to bottom." He turned once he reached the far wall, now facing the students once more. "And I mean clean. I want that fucking toilet so clean I could make a goddamn sandwich on it." His eyes narrowed. "Do you understand?"

In some ways Paul wished he didn’t read the paper. He was going to be helping with survival safety. That wasn’t so bad. The part what sucked was canoeing. The poor teen couldn’t swim. And thought of getting into a canoe on the lake didn’t sound very fun to Paul. Of course there would be water activities. This was camping trip. How did the possibility of getting in water slipped Paul’s mind? Maybe, because it was winter.
Paul snapped out of his mini crisis when he heard someone come in. Paul looked up at one of his cabin mates. He stood up not one hundred percent sure of what to do. He wasn’t accustom being bowed to or bowing to someone. Paul was obviously had asian blood in him, but he wasn’t raised following asian culture. In all honesty Paul wasn’t sure what was in his blood. Paul did a weird head nod shoulder bow thing. ”Paul.” Plus Paul was pretty sure “bonjour” was french.
Luckily, another cabin mate came. He would break up the awkwardness, so Paul thought. Prince Phillip? Who would introduced themselves as Prince whatever. He wasn’t sure if “Prince” Phillip was joking or if he had that big of an ego. This was going to be an interesting week. "Hi?" It was more of question than a statement.
And the final cabin mate came. A familiar face. Paul could breathe a little easier for kind of know one of his cabin mates. And it looked like Paul would be spending time with him. ”I have survival safety too. Do you guys have it too?” Paul directed the question to Gem and “Prince” Phillip. He wondered how much time he would be spending with the other three.
Paul jumped out of his skin when the door flew open. He stood frozen in his spot. He wasn’t sure how he was suppose to react. So, he just watched the cabin supervisor move about the cabin. It was clear Paul should not get this guy any attitude. Otherwise Paul would be asking for it. This guy didn’t seem like he would take Paul’s crap.
He was truly delighted as Paul replied to him, even though it was oddly awkward. At this moment, the cabin welcomed someone new again. This time, it was Gem's dearest friend, Phillip Prince. It was no surprise that he made such a conspicuous introduction. He loved his surname a lot.
The next member of the cabin was slightly younger looking, he looked flustered and clumsy but Gem was not the one to judge. He came over to ask about something on his paper, followed my Paul's comment about 'Survival Safety'. "It must be something you're in charge of thro..." without even to be able to finish Gem's sentence. The door of the cabin was opened once again, worse, banged opened by a bulked up guy followed by his swearings. Talk about first impressions, but this guy was definitely not one to mess with. Guessing his age, he's probaby the teacher in charge in this cabin.
"Impoli..." Gem spoke under his breath while focusing his eyes and mind at him. Gem would be fine with cleaning the cabin as it's his responsibility to do. That goes same for everyone in the cabin, but having someone to start giving commands without even a proper introduction kind of got into his nerves. After all, he still kept a straight face with his tensed up shoulder beside Paul and Phillip. No reaction was given at the moment, just stares from Gem towards the others.
His little introduction did not elicit a reaction that he had hoped for. That gave him a bit of an inkling on what his cabin mates were like. Snore. They gotta loosen up, thought Phillip as he gave a small nod of the head to the younger boy and winked at Gem as he passed him to claim a bed by the window.
The boy joined the others with the addition of the newcomer. Survival Safety huh? "Nope," he replied, shaking his head. "I'm under general activities. Where the games happen." A mischievous smile tugged on his lips.
It did not last long because once the door flew open suddenly, a puzzled look took place on his face. Oh lord, who was this bloke now? It felt like they were in the army or something. He figured that was how the supervisor intended to treat them, i.e, he was already giving them orders.
Well then, he was not going to keep quiet like the other boys. "Sir yes sir!" He said it with a straight face but underneath a snicker threatened to escape from the nineteen year old.

Jimmy was glad that the only boy in the cabin he already spoke to was going to be in the same activity group as his. The question remained however, what does survival safety meant? He was pretty sure safety meant safe and so he vaguely wondered if they wanted them to be guard dogs around the camping site to chase animals and people who shouldn’t come near. As for survival, he had no idea. Why didn’t he have the games like that other boy? At least he would have known what it was about. He didn’t have the time to ask for more information however. The door slammed open, causing Jimmy to jump. At least he didn't yelp. Or hide behind the taller guys in the cabin with him.
The man who walked in had a strong voice. Jimmy wasn’t sure what he was talking about but he said listen up so he was listening. He was frightening though. Jimmy worked on instinct and knew he had to listen to a voice like his. He still didn’t know what he was talking about and he sometimes eyed towards the other boys, hoping their attitude towards the man would help him understand what he should do.
One boy muttered something Jimmy didn’t catch but the other said sir yes sir so Jimmy did the same. “Sir yes sir!” He made a move towards the toilet. He didn't get much but he understood he wanted them to clean the cabin and apparently eat in the toilet. He didn’t get who would want to do that but it was better not to ask. No one else made a move however and so Jimmy stopped in his tracks halfway to the toilet and stared at them. Why were they all standing up doing nothing?
Marcus stood, his stance wide, fists clenched and glared at the students who were assigned to his cabin with nothing more than pure, unbridled hostility gleaming in his eyes. His gaze settled upon the smartass who looked like he was about to start laughing. There was no humor to be found here. Just six feet, two inches of military trained, combat hardened anger. He let the quiet linger in the air for just a moment, allowing his entrance to stew among the kids.
In an instant his entire demeanor shifted.
"No, no, no. Stop." Marcus' head shook as he raised a hand to keep the one from actually continuing into the bathroom. "Just stop." His shoulders relaxed and the animosity drained from his entire being in the blink of an eye. "I'm just fucking with you, it's fine." He then waved the raised hand, gesturing to the cabin around them while stifling a laugh of his own. "Alright, look." Marcus shrugged the large, camouflage pack of his shoulders, letting it drop to hold it by the strap. "Bullshit aside, I'm Marcus, I'm the cabin supervisor. I don't really care what you guys do, just don't trash the place. Don't do anything stupid to get yourself hurt, unless someone's taking video, and try not to break anything. But if you do either of those things just let me know as soon as possible, alright? Sound good? Any questions?"
