Ah, a cabin retreat. The moment the announcement was made, Phillip Prince wasted no time and quickly signed his name up. He loved whenever the school did these activities. It gave him an excuse to be away from school and inevitably, more opportunities for pranks to pull.
The first day there, Phillip did not delay his plans and started working on his plan almost instantly. That afternoon after everyone had their lunch and were out doing their own activities, the boy walked up to his cabin and was delighted to find it empty. His cabin mates were out and that was simply wonderful.
He had brought his supplies which were multiple packets of balloons and tons of water bottles. First he filled one water balloon and used his web to dangle the balloon on top of the door. But Phillip did not stop there. The boy proceeded to create a spider web like at the entrance of the door. So whoever entered would be sure to be greeted with a wet and sticky surprise.
Phillip was busy filling up water into his balloons when he heard the door creak open. Oh yes.
After helping out with all the preparations and cooking for lunch, unstoppable sweats were flowing out of Gem's pores. He wasn't able to continue with any activities with that sticky and filthy body of his. With no hesitation, he hopped his way back to the cabin for a quick and refreshing shower.
The door was not closed properly, he was sure that everyone headed out for their own activities. "Did they left the water rushing in the toilet like that?" thought Gem as he entered the cabin. Gem could be very sharp sometimes but that's not today. Bunch of sticky strings attached to his face and he even ate some of it, ew...The panic attack followed by a large splash on his head, wetting his perfectly combed hair. He was definitely annoyed by all these surprises.
He combed up his wet hair only to see this cheeky guy laughing at him with balloons on his hands. He clenched his teeth and bit his lips, suppressing all his anger, trying not to swear. "Prince, what are you trying to do. Please explain yourself," enunciated Gem as his eyes were filling up with flames.
The moment he heard the door opening, Phillip stopped everything he was doing. He had his head up and his eyes glued to the front door. This was certainly a little bit too early for his prank to start, especially since he had only completed half of the preparation. Nonetheless, he was not going to miss out on how his prank would play out.
He watched his victim struggle with his sticky webs and then a balloon dropped right on top of his head! Loud laughter erupted from the prankster. "Yes! That's how you do it," he said, mostly for himself. Phillip was laughing hysterically and oh how he wished he had gotten it all on camera. Darn Gem for walking in on the prank early.
"Mate, what do you think it looks like?" he replied after his laughter slowly died down. "You know, you kind of came a bit too early. If you came in a little later, it would have gotten caught on camera. Then I could send the video to you and you can treasure it forever." Phillip was teasing and probably mocking the other boy too. "Want to do it again, just so I can record it?"
"Connerie..." whispered Gem as he wiped himself clean. He didn't sign up for this. Furthermore, he definitely didn't sign up to deal with someone this problematic. He let out deep sigh, figuring out what to do with him.
Gem knew Phillip long ago, but not long enough to stop him from pranking and causing problems everywhere. "Phil, please stop all these before I bring it up to the teachers," commanded Gem. "I just wanna take a proper shower. Please don't try to do anything more, or else.." What? He questioned himself as he walked into the bathroom, undressing himself. He sounded cool but with no plan, Phillip wouldn't be stopped that easily. He continued with his shower with a worried heart. He wasn't worried about himself, he was just worried about the others. Not taking an immediate action might have been the most regretful choice he had made.

He noted that the other boy had muttered something under his breath but he could not quite catch it. Never mind that, Phillip could not care less. It was probably a curse or something.
The nineteen year old winced at being called Phil. Oh how he detested it when others shortened his name. He did not like it one bit. But Gem's commanding tone made Phillip wanted to laugh. It was funny because Gem did not seem like the commanding one. Especially not when he was wet and covered with spider webs. Was he trying to sound threatening? "Or else?" A questioning eyebrow rose. Honestly, they were not toddlers. Was Gem really going to rat him out? Pfft. That sounded plainly childish.
Instead of replying, Phillip carried on with his plan. As the other boy hit the showers, he continued filling more water balloons. He redid the entrace again, since Gem already walked in on it. The next person that would come through the door would get the same wet and sticky surprise.
First he placed ten small water balloons under their cabin supervisor's pillow. He climbed the cabin walls and to the ceiling. He used his webs to dangle the water balloons from the ceiling above. "Oi, Gem! Pass me another water balloon would ya?" he called out once he heard the bathroom door opening.
"Aishhh..." he banged the door opened, nearly swore once again. With heavy steps, he grabbed the bag of balloons and threw right at Phillip's face like they were in a baseball game. "Ya! I told you to stop, didn't I?!" scolded Gem, hoping Phillip to actually listen to him.
He let out another deep sigh, knowing himself couldn't do anything else since Phillip already refused to listen to him. Furthermore, Gem just couldn’t bring himself to throw a temper to Phillip. He is just too kind to do so. "Well... it won't be my problem if I am not the one activating your plans," laughed Gem as he walked to a window with no set-ups. He pushed open the window and sat on the ledge, peeling off all the the webs on his foot. "Have fun laughing, Phil. I might as well just enter the room after everyone did," said Gem with a heavy heart.
They are both the same age, but Gem just couldn’t treat Phillip like one sometimes.

By some sheer luck, Phillip managed to catch the bag of water balloons without losing his balance on the ceiling. Well, he did have a lot of practice with wall crawling. One or two water balloons did slip out and fell smack to the ground however, but it was nothing to concern himself with. He would just wipe it later or something. If he remembered to do it anyway.
"Thanks mate," he said, making sure Gem was looking at him when he gave the other boy a wink. Then he continued to dangle a couple more water balloons from the ceiling. The web, he made sure was a thin strand so that by time, the weight of the water balloon would drag it down and it would snap, resulting in the water balloon's fall.
Then once again, he called him Phil. His fists clenched and he felt a tad bit annoyed because this was the second time and he was starting to think Gem was doing it on purpose. Well then.
So in retaliation, Phillip took a couple water balloons and crawled on the ceiling closer to Gem. He took his aim and threw the water balloons at his target. It was not very far, so he hardly even missed. A mischievous smile tugged on the brunet's lips. "Don't appreciate you calling me Phil, love."
Luckily his towels were still wrapped around his neck, the splashes on his head couldn't reach his clothes as he had already wiped them off. He was clean after the shower, but now it's cleaner. An extra amount of water on his hair could make him shimmer more under the sun.
It would be the third time for Gem sighing, letting out groans of disappointment towards Phillip. "Phillip, Phillip," said Gem with a softer tone which was his way to start his nag, "I really think it's a bad idea doing this. We are here to learn and know new people. Not create havoc and enemies!"
Gem would help out with a these pranks, only if Phillip had a better reason of doing so. For now, Gem could just set his foot outside the window, turning his back and just prepare to leave the cabin helplessly.

All Phillip did was roll his eyes. He wanted to tell Gem that everything he said was not necessary and he was just wasting his breath. Phillip had heard the same old thing again and again before. And like in the past, he never took their "advices" to heart. He was not about to do that now just because a pretty boy said to.
The boy shook his head in disagreement. Gem sounded naive. "Honestly, Gem. I'm pretty sure the latter is probably the only reason why I signed up for the retreat," he said matter of factly. "But if you did come for new people, met anyone interesting yet?" His tone was teasing and a smirk was present on his lips.
He glared at Phillip once again while bitting his lips, knowing the fact that no one actually engaged a conversation with him ever since they came here. Not even when he was preparing lunch for the participants.
"No... Not yet," he sighed as he looked at the birds flew off the nearby trees. Gem always treats his surrounding like it's his stage, he wouldn't shy away in an interaction. However, he couldn't make himself start a conversation with someone else. He could be quite an introvert sometimes. Sadly, not towards Phillip. Gem had been to his house once, they're both acquainted long ago. Phillip might be his only close friend by now.
"Alright, I am gonna take my leave for now," said Gem as he stood outside the window. "See you later. Remember to catch some of Mr. Marcus' ugly reactions," giggled Gem as he took a deep breath.
He knew he was teasing and all but apparently Gem took him for real. The other boy sounded sad and a tad been depressing. As he stared out the window at the birds on the trees, Phillip noted how forlorn he looked and obviously how dramatic Gem was being. But he did not call him out on it. Instead, Phillip shut his mouth and waited to see what he would do next.
As Gem made his excuses, Phillip gave a small wave and a nod of his head as a farewell gesture. "Oh you know I'm counting on it," he replied. Their supervisor was what Phillip considered to be a pain in the arse at times. He easily became a target when he first kicked the door open to cabin number three.
The nineteen year old watched the other walk away further from the window. For some reason, Phillip Prince decided he wanted to go after his cabin mate. He did not bother to clean up properly. Basically he gathered all the water balloons and placed them under his bed. He'll get to it later.
He jumped out the window and walked briskly to Gem. "Hey!" he called out wanting to get the boy's attention. "You said you haven't met anyone interesting here yet right. Wanna play a game?"
He shoved his hands into his pockets as the wind blew. He was gonna head back to the cooking site to plan dinner with the cooking team. Recipes were popping up in his head, having people to appreciate his cooking would be something healing for him right now.
He shifted his gaze as he was called by Phillip again. He wanted to resume to his own activity as soon as possible, there was definitely no time for games. "What do you want?" asked Gem activity he put up activity curios face towards Phillip. He couldn't say no immediately, that's how Gem is. As long as there isn't any more water balloons, he would be fine.

What did he want? Well wasn’t that direct. Obviously, Gem was smart enough not to agree into anything that Phillip had in mind without at least knowing a bit of details. But where was the fun in that? He shot him a look that said 'oh c'mon, he was not going to give up the details that quickly.'
"If I tell you now, it'll take the fun out of it," he replied, a hint of nefarious touched his smile, giving out some sort of inkling on what kind of "game" he had thought of. Okay, maybe nefarious was a bit too much but there would have to be mischief if it was the prankster suggesting. “I promise there wouldn’t be anymore water balloons. Just follow me?” He turned around and headed in the opposite direction of the cooking site.
He looked at Phillip with a tired face, basically not showing much interest in Phillip's game. For sharing any details for your 'game'? It might be a real 'surprise' if it isn't Phillip the one saying that. Or else, Gem could only imagine another prank set up for him as he squinted his eyes.
Gem sighed as he thought that it would be okay if it's for the sake of keeping this friendship. "Wait, Phillip!" he called out for Phillip as he followed behind. "I'll play your game, but....you gotta clear out all your pranks in the cabin," said Gem.

When his name was called out, Phillip delightfully stopped his tracks and turned around. He wondered if Gem's curiosity finally got the better of him, that was mostly what the nineteen year old had played on when he headed off in the opposite direction.
He wanted to yell out fantastic when Gem agreed, but the words never made out when he heard the condition. Phillip rolled his eyes and looked exasperatedly at Gem. "Seriously?" Shaking his head, he surprisingly obliged to the other boy's condition and went to their cabin to clean up.
Using his abilities, he made quick work with bringing down the water balloons hanging on the ceilings and door. He dumped the water balloons in a bag and pushed it under his bed. However, Phillip was not the kind to clean up a prank that had not even been executed yet. It was not in his nature. So whilst it seemed like he did cleaned up, he actually left the water balloons that was under the pillows. Hopefully, Gem did not notice those.
"Alright, cleared," he announced, turning to Gem. "Happy?"
