Sam didn't really know what he was doing here. He had simply heard that they needed some extra hands doing some work around school, what with the winter weather finally hitting Kalispell full force. He'd always been somewhat helpful; between his height and his work effort and his strength, he generally did pretty good at the whole physical labor thing. Right now, he was attempting to work at the greenhouse and...
...and he didn't have a clue what he was supposed to be doing. He'd been standing there, per instruction, for a while now. His arms were upraised, pushing against a glass panel, and he did know he was holding it in place. But he wasn't sure if he was supposed to be waiting for someone to glue it or holding it while glue dried or something. And he wasn't exactly in a position to actually check it himself: that would require letting go or shifting more than he really felt comfortable doing right now.
So, for the time being, Sam was stuck there. Standing at the edge of the greenhouse while a few more volunteers and staff worked around the place winterizing, holding a pane of glass and feeling like an idiot.

Paul took a walk around the school grounds. He was simply avoiding doing his schoolwork and he didn't want to sit in his dorm anymore. So outside Paul went. He stuffed his hands in his pockets. The cold winter didn’t bother Paul. He was from Vermont.
He followed the path. He ended up heading to the training fields. Paul was just going to loop around, but something caught Paul’s attention. At the greenhouse was another student. The student was just standing there holding a pane of glass.
Paul was curious, so he took a detour to the greenhouse. "You seem pretty attached to the glass." Paul said as he walked up to student.
