Bo carefully balanced the ladder against the base of the house. He could see the elderly woman who actually lived her looking out her window cautiously, obviously half in wonder and half enjoying seeing a "handsome young man" coming over to actually help with this sort of thing. Bo had been helping out the various residents of Kalispell pretty well since he'd manifested, and he certainly wanted to head out and do it this season. Technically this was putting off the decorating for a little while longer than he really wanted to, but he'd been busy, as was so often the case this time of year. He was here now though, and getting the ladder into position.
Nodding, Bo started up, a string of lights around one shoulder. He and the lights made it to the roof, but as he did, they got a little tangled. Bo jerked the rope strand a little ,not really thinking, and watched, with something like horror, as the ladder tipped, wobbled, and fell, landing far out of reach, but thankfully not damaging anything besides an already dead bush.
"Could be worse," he said, before taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly. Bo set down the lights before rising up, arms raising as he saw a passerby. "Hey, would ya mind comin' over an' lendin' a hand?" He asked, gesturing in a come hither motion, hoping that the whole generous holiday spirit thing was as catching as he liked to think it was.
