Friday giggled at the attempted dance move. "Well, not like I was trying to hit it in the first place," Friday said, still smiling as she shrugged. It was pretty well just how this sort of thing went for her, really. At least she had the show to distract her, and Fiona was being especially cool about the whole thing, both of which worked to Friday's benefit.
and Fiona totally got into the show too! Or, at least she humored Friday, which was enough for the girl. "I bet you would," Friday said. "I mean, because you have the hair and the smile and all, so, like, you'd make a really cute cheerleader," Friday's head bobbed a few more times before she seemed to remember that they were, in fact, playing pool. She turned to look just in time to see Fiona altering the field.
"Hey!" Friday said, moving to swat. "I'm pretty sure that's not allowed!" Pretty sure, but Friday wouldn't have been too horribly surprised to find that was a rule. She wasn't about to try it though: who knew what would happen when she touched a pool ball?

”Good, because what did the pool table ever do to you!? Stop hurting it!” She lovingly gave it a pat “It’s okay pooly, you’ll be fine.” She shrugged, turning her attention back to the cheerleaders on the screen “Those two need to kiss, do they kiss after the song or something?” It was cute and romantic, but the kiss would have been nice to see.
“Maybe I’ll be a cheerleader for Halloween next year or something” She would never remember to do that, but it was an idea, though the more she thought about it that was a boring idea, she wanted something scary and sexy, not just cute.
She was caught! She smiled innocently “oops” so she moved the ball back to where it had previously been “It was an accident” she kept up her innocent smile “I’m soooorry.” She figured she should keep the cheating to telekinesis since it was easier to not get caught that way “You sure it’s not allowed?” She asked, trying to sound as innocent as possible.

Friday giggled as Fiona kept petting the table, glad to see that her friend was just going to go along with it and all. Said friend almost immediately drew her attention back to the screen. Said screen had shifted to a fairly romantic scene and all. Friday couldn't quite recall whether or not they kissed, and she definitely didn't want to find out, not with the pool playing to at least pretend to be focused on instead.
So she just nodded along with Fiona's cheerleader comment and focused right in on the game. "It's okay," Friday said, shrugging. "It's just, like, a game and all. No big deal," she paused then, considering. "I mean, I don't even know if that's cheating. It kinda feels like it's cheating? But I don't really play pool that often," as if to belay that statement, Friday picked up the cue again, readied it, and shot a ball right into a corner pocket, the whole motion smooth, connected, and almost professional in its execution.
She was already walking around before she continued: "This so doesn't count. It's allll my power," she insisted before sinking another. At least she got the third slightly off, right?

Fiona smiled and went “Awww!” as the girls on the screen did indeed kiss “Look how cute they are, it’s so nice that people can see that love doesn’t have to be about gender” That was probably the most serious thing she had said in days. Seeing couples like that easily made Fiona’s heart melt, it was kind of weird, she didn’t see the point in getting that serious with somebody, but the whole idea of true love was very beautiful and she did hope she’d experience it one day.
“I guess I was trying to cheat” She admitted “I just wanted to see if you’d notice, kinda like a prank” She smiled as she watched more balls getting shot into the pockets. She wondered if Friday would realize what she was doing if she used her powers to get all of her balls in this turn. She started hitting ball after ball, using her telekinesis to push them in the direction she wanted or a little further so they would fall into the holes, she was starting to feel a little light headed from using her powers so much. She only had one colored ball left before it was time to go for the black one, but she messed it up a bit, her telekinetic push accidentally pushing the white ball down instead “Oops.”
“So in a way you’re cheating too?” She smirked, if it was all power, then were they any different? The main difference was that she hadn’t told her about her own power and that she had been using it to her advantage.

Cute? Love didn't involve gender? Friday had certainly heard stuff like that; she grew up around hippies and all after all, but it still seemed weird to be hearing it from someone else, someone closer to her own age. She looked over at Fiona, tempted to ask the girl if that was the case with her or something. Except that felt like prying and Friday didn't want to pry or scare off the really pretty girl with the wild hair and the fun outlook on life and all.
"You shouldn't cheat!" Friday insisted, pursing her lips. "I mean, I guess a prank's okay, so long as nobody's getting hurt, and nobody's getting hurt here, so it's pretty much--" Friday trailed off, mostly because suddenly Fiona had gotten really, really good at this whole pool thing. her eyes widened as she followed each shot, head swiveling about as if Fiona had tied Friday's nose to the balls.
"Wow, that's really cool!" Friday said, nodding. "What? I mean, I'm not trying?" Friday frowned, leaning on the cue. "I'm just.. I can't help it. And I totally told you from the beginning. So it's not really cheating?" Friday frowned and looked at the last ball. "Does using your powers for something like this count? It kinda feels like it does, but it's also us..."

”Do you think Glee airs in Australia? My ex should totally see this” She had gotten herself into a relationship with a girl in Australia, which had been fun, but then it wasn’t fun, but now it was okay and they were friends, kind of? Well her ex was pretty mad at her, but she had to be over it by now right? “Do you have a boyfriend?” She asked, Friday was totally cute so that wouldn’t surprise her.
”I guess I should noooot cheat” She said with a innocent smile “I’m sorry, are you mad at me?” She didn’t want her to actually get mad, so she felt like it was time to confess to her crime “I... I’m sorry but I have been cheating all along” she covered her mouth with her hands to hide a mischievous smile “I kinda used my powers, I figured since yours makes you better at it, I needed some extra help” She dropped her own cue, except it didn’t fall, it floated in the air “Telekinetic” She admitted.
“I feel like it would be cheating against people who doesn’t have powers? I don’t know how much it counts?” She hadn’t thought about it, she had known she was cheating so it probably counted, she did do it on purpose after all “I think what I did counts as cheating, I did it on purpose” She shrugged, still trying to look as innocent as possible.

"Probably? I think it's on Netflix now?" Friday said. The mixture of talk about the show and the game and powers was keeping her a little lightheaded, though that didn't stop her from attempting to keep up with all the threads of the conversation at the same time. "Um, no? No, I, ah, don't. Have a boyfriend." She flushed to her ears at that, looking away for a moment. Technically Friday hadn't had a boyfriend for... a while. Mostly because boys... weren't appealing? She bit her lip thinking about it.
oh, wait, cheating. "What? no, I'm not!" Friday insisted, snapping out of her sexuality funk and shaking her head. "it's fine! I mean, we were just--" Friday paused as she saw the floating ball. "See! That's a cool power and all! I mean, it's kinda hard to tell when a power's cool or not," Friday shrugged, lifted up her cue and finished off the game. "But, like, I mean, we didn't set any rules or anything? So I don't think that you using your powers really counts as cheating. It's not like we were playing for anything or anything."
Friday shrugged again. Cheating in general certainly bothered her but, well, Fiona cheating in specific...

Fiona nodded, Netflix! Oh yeah, she had Netflix didn’t she? Her parents was paying for the subscription, maybe she should use it so they weren’t just paying for nothing, oops. Fiona giggled a bit at Friday’s reaction to the question “Are you sure? I can see you turning red there, does that mean there’s somebody you like?” She grinned “You can tell Fifi, my lips are sealed.”
“I guess since it’s just the way you are, it can’t be called cheating” She had to agree when she thought about it, how can you cheat when it’s just what naturally happens? She watched Friday finish off the game and getting down the last ball, she clapped “Congrats to the new pool champion of Bellefonte!” She smiled and gave her a little shrug “You’re too sweet, but I totally did cheat, I was trying to see if I could do it without you noticing, but I wasn’t trying to be mean, I just wanted to see if I’d be caught, because I thought it would be funny.”
“Hey, Friday” She brought up her phone “let’s exchange numbers and social media stuff so we can plan our next hangout soon! We really should hang out again, because you’re pretty cool” she had decided that Friday was her friend, this would mean many more fun times to be had in the future.

"I don't... I mean, there's no one who I'm interested in at the moment. Really," Friday nodded her head, moving it a few more times, glad for the whole pool thing to distract her from being too awkward in the conversation and all. Fiona seemed to be more or less on board with it, and she even clapped. Friday bowed some, managing to just avoid the table when she did.
Friday backed up then, shrugging. "I don't think I'm the champ, and didn't you technically do better?" Friday frowned, looking at the table and considering. "OH, and you totally weren't--you want my number? Oh, my phone is---" Friday turned around once, twice, then got stuck on the cue. It tangled up her legs and down Friday went in a heap and a tangle of limbs.

”Hmm I should totally find somebody to set you up with” she started thinking about who she knew, but then she figured it was probably a good idea to figure this out when she had been there a little longer, she had after all just gotten to the school “I’ll find you a cutie don’t worry! And if I can’t find anyone else I’m sure my brother... Or... No he wouldn’t like me suggesting him... Um... Ah we’ll figure it out!”
Fiona watched with a mix of amusement and shock as Friday somehow managed to fall again, how did she do that not on purpose!? Fiona could only do stuff like that on purpose, not by accident! This was amazing “Are you okay!?” She quickly stepped over, once again laughing as she reached out her hand to help Friday back on her feet “How do you do that?” This was hilarious.
“You’re so adorkable” she laughed, there was no way she wouldn’t make sure to start hanging out with Friday as much as possible, the girl was so much fun, even when she didn’t mean to be. Fiona was extremely entertained by the clumsiness.

"oh, that could, um, be nice?" Friday tried with absolutely no enthusiasm. She couldn't help but think that going out Fiona would probably be more fun than going out with her brother, but, well, maybe the brother would be close enough to Fiona that it wouldn't be so bad? A male version of Fiona might be pretty much exactly what Friday needed, right? Of course, she was already so wrapped up and dizzy that she had fallen and her mind was literally spinning to go with the more figurative spinning that came from landing in a heap and all.
"It's a gift," she managed weakly from her tangled position, trying to slide around the pool cue and not managing. The adorkable comment had her flushing. "Um, thanks?" She tried, before attempting to untangle a limb and again mostly failing. She sighed and laid back down, staring up.
"I think I'm done," she said, looking up at the hand. "You should probably just leave me to die or something." Friday waved a hand and did another dramatic sigh. She tilted her head and could just make out the television, so at least she wouldn't be bored while she slowly wasted away.
