Poppy just started giggling as Friday started playing the keyboard. Piper just stared. The twins tried to go back to doing their things, but it wasn't long before Poppy couldn't hold back any longer, with a huge grin on her face she cleared some space on the floor and began folk dancing to the jaunty tune. Piper only stared in amused horror. What did she start? A mess. A mess they'd have to clean up before the teachers came and got them. Last thing they needed was to end up in the principals office. Not that it looked like any of them cared, they were having fun, and that's all that mattered. Minus the slightly awkward start, things turned out well.
Unfortunately, Piper's fears confirmed, as a teacher walked in. "Class is ov- I know it was messy when I set it up, but weren't you meant to work in groups and learn to use your powers?" The teacher crossed their arms.
"Well, Sir, we did, isn't it obvious?" Poppy stopped her dancing to reply to their teacher. Though as serious as she was trying to be, she couldn't get rid of the grin that was on her face. "We did do our work, and we had so much fun doing it... that paint might have flown and a tennis ball might have escaped."
"That's not explaining what happened, Poppy. Get this cleaned up and then class dismissed." The teacher sighed rubbing the bridge of his nose.
"Yes Sir." Poppy just kept smiling.
Poppy and Piper began cleaning up their respective messes. "Th-That was kinda fun." Piper whispered with a smile. Poppy's head turned to her sister.
"You spoke!" Poppy gasped. Piper just giggled and shook her head.
"I speak when I'm comfortable... you know that..." Piper quietly replied. Once finished cleaning up, they helped Friday.
