"So when he comes back we all start giving him shit as you're supposed to do when you get a twenty-one year old his first lap dance and he doesn't say a thing. Come to find out he turned down the lap dance and just sat in the back room talking with this stripper about Pokemon or some shit for almost a half hour!" Marcus paused to knock back the rest of the beer in his mug. "Two months later she's knocked up and they're getting married."
The tattooed, former Army Ranger threw his hands up in an incredulous manner and laughed. He didn't bother to go into how that story ultimately ended as it simply wasn't the right time to go that far. Marcus was in his element sitting at the table in the bustling bar. He paused and refilled his mug from the pitcher of beer that had been placed in the middle of the table. Someone approaching caught Marcus' attention. Glancing up he spotted the young, blonde woman who'd recently started working at Bellefonte.
"Hey!" He said, waving Teagan Abbot over and gesturing for her to have a seat in an empty chair next to hi. "Glad you could make it, pull up a seat." A couple days prior Marcus had asked around to gauge interest in getting together after work for a few drinks. A handful of other staffers had accepted the invitation, though there weren't many Marcus had much interest in. He found most of them to be bland and a bit too pretentious for his tastes. The new blonde chick from across the pond, though? He would insist his interest in her was purely based upon what little he'd gleaned of her personality and nothing more.
"Can we get another round?" He asked the waitress once she'd drawn closer. "And you can go ahead and put whatever she's drinking on the same tab."
