There are very few things that can breed unsolicited overwhelming unbearing fear in the hearts of men...The impending creeping certainty of death The instinctive fear of the dark and cold, being locked in a room with a thousand angry lions covered in meat.
But the students of Bellefonte Academy had one fear to add to that list:
An angry Ellen Banks.
Of course an angry Ellen Banks is something you’d be quite used to if you lived in Bellefonte Academy, it was more common for her to be in a bad mood then a good mood, but there’s a difference between Ellen in a mean mood and Ellen very very very VERY angry and right now she was very very very VERY very angry indeed, She stared at her computer screen, her nose flaring her eyes going wide and the veins in her temple throbbing, her face grew pale as she looked at the school roll online and one name jumped out at her and zoned out the rest of the world
Ellen Spanks….
Ellen. Spanks.
ELLEN. SPANKS.
SPANKS.
With a high pitched wail of irritation Ellen practically kicked her dorm room door down as she stomped down the hall looking like a cross between barbie and Godzilla storming down the hall making sure to snarl at anyone that dared to get in her way as she made a beeline towards the computer lab to figure out who exactly wanted to die in the near future
When it came to paying attention to spelling mistakes, no one caught it better than a person who purposely made them happen. Lucy mightn't have ever dealt with Ellen on a personal level, but she knew who she was. Everyone knew who she was. That was the greatest appeal for the ink manipulator who happened to be in the hallway when she stormed past.
Hands in her pockets and she didn't bother looking at the blonde. She even waited until she walked past.
"Aye Spanks, what's the good word?" She asked, unable to hide the grin she wore. But she hardly expected her to stop.
On any other day of the week, there would be a certain way Ellen would do things, she simply couldn't just “Walk” down a hallway she needed to relish in the looks of the people she was surrounded as a result of her reputation, she generally guided down the hallway like it was made for her and only her, making sure to give eye contact to everyone walking the halls with her as if non-verbally asserting her dominance over the general school body
...But today? Today students could be walking down the hall stark nude and it wouldn’t be a guarantee that Ellen in her rage would see them….So it was something of a miracle that Lucy's voice cut through the haze…
...but it certainly stopped Ellen in her tracks, her feet dead bolting as she slowly turned towards the girl, if she could her eyes would be glowing red like a T-1000 locking on their target. Clearly annoyed breathing in through her nose heavily and screwing her nose like she was trying to stop herself from strangling her she marched over to the girl looming over her and sizing her up like a lion might do to a gazelle.
“If you ever so much as THINK that ever again I can ruin your life here in the time it takes to finish that sentence. I will ruin you and then I’ll go home and have a good sleep about that, so heed some friendly advice; It’s NOT a good idea to mock me,...

When Lucy heard the stalling of steps, she knew the little words had landed. Sometimes it was easy, though more often than not with people of her nature, it absolutely wasn't. Then she was walking towards her, and it was enough to have the ink manipulator turning to look, attention granted.
No deer in the headlights here. Lion v lion.
There were a lot of thoughts that ran through Lucy's head in that exact moment. It was a split second choice as to how she could consider responding to the rant thrown her way. For something so little, it was such a reaction. She couldn't help the way she grinned; she couldn't have hidden it if she tried.
"Why not?" She asked curiously, tilting her head to the side.
God, she really didn’t want to have to deal with this and her irritation of that fact was palpable to say the very least. That was one of the wonderful little things about the dutchess of Bellefonte academy (She could never be apart a queen or a princess, after all, that role was bound towards the Bellefonte family for life, but Ellen was clearly some variation of royalty wasn’t she? The Banks had quite a bit of power in the school after all)
For all of the wonderful things about Miss Banks. She had an impossibly emotive face, that seemed to flood with feelings at a moment’s notice and it was a weapon she has employed over the years thanks to those sharp chocolate brown eyes of hers. One moment she could look at you lin a way that’ll make you feel less than nothing her eyes cutting through you like you were a brick wall...and then make you want to run for your life when she froze you in place with an almighty death stare like she was trying to murder you through eye contact alone.
So naturally enough once it became clear that this girl wasn’t effected whatsoever by her threat that just made her all the madder
She looked up this girl up and down her nose upturned towards those tattoos clearly not a fan “....It was you wasn’t it?”
