"Cally, buddy, I know that you've gotta be careful, but this is taking it a bit far." Leo laughed as he and Clyde wandered through the school, the latter wearing an oversized sombrero. "I know you're allergic but the sun's not gonna getcha in here, and you look kinda..." He trailed off suddenly, spotting the Science Lab. His eyes seemed to sparkle in delight at his find, and momentarily, he forgot his best friend.
"I kn-now, Leo, but I d-don't wanna get burnt..." Clyde mumbled. "What if I get another rash..." He trailed off, looking around. "L-Leo?" Clyde whimpered. "Are y-you there?" His breathing quickened as he began to panic; he hated being separated from his best friend - especially when he was in a new environment.

Poppy and Piper were just walking around the school, talking (Poppy was mostly talking) about the new friends they've - or well... Poppy has - made. Piper loved listening to the creative way that Poppy retold the events of the meetings, they were so unique, so different. The Belmont Chronicles already had plenty of notes for Poppy to write them out in full when she got the chance. Though as much as Poppy was talking, she was also looking at her notes as she recounted the events of her latest meet. It wasn't until Poppy looked up that she realised that she had somehow lost her sister. She was now passing the science lab and when she peeked in, she spotted a boy in there. "Uhm... hello?" Poppy peered in, hoping she didn't startle the boy.

Clyde let out a yelp, leaping back. Without warning, he shapeshifted, somehow ending up trapped under the sombrero in bat form. Clyde froze, wondering if he would be teased... And then he realised - the sombrero was hiding him! With any luck, he could pretend he wasn't there, and then this stranger would think he'd... teleported away or something, and and leave him alone! That would work, right? His heart-rate was through the roof!
Elsewhere, Leo was staring at the various objects in the science lab. It was much fancier than the one at his old school! He couldn't wait to start! Would anyone mind if he just... Leo pulled out a few items and began to mess around; in hindsight, he was just lucky the teacher was out of the room, or he would be in big trouble, not that he cared. He knew what he was doing, after all, he'd be fine!

Piper stared at the boy who just seemed to disappear. But then she noticed that the sombrero was ever so slightly moving. She knelt down, carefully lifting up the big hat. She made a small sound and waved her hand a little in hello. She didn't mean to scare the boy. She stepped back a bit to give the bat some room. She didn't want to frighten the poor little thing.
Poppy on the other hand was passing the science lab and looked inside to see a boy in there playing around with stuff. She peeked in. "Uhm... hello?" She stepped in carefully, hoping she didn't startle the red-head.
