Michael didn’t really need Bo to agree with him to figure this out. Lemonade and fries didn’t sound like the best match. “See, I told you they should have sodas,” he pointed out. At the same time, he sort of suspected Bo to have made him order something else that was more particular to this truck. What can of food truck didn’t have soda? Not that Michael would know, his knowledge in that are being pretty thin, but he was still ready to ask it. “Your heart might need a lesson in taste.”
Michael heard what Bo was about to say and could finish that sentence for him, but he cut short to it by saying what he wanted to say. Yes, they probably wouldn’t stick around. His little insult was not bad enough to deserve freezing their ass while looking at the mall’s exits for him to come out. Should they meet again someday, maybe Michael would be reminded of their previous encounter, but he doubted it would happen today. However, just in case, he preferred to have some muscles around.
To his surprise, Bo not only claimed he had nothing to do really but suggested to stick around if Michael still had some shopping to do. Then there was the bit about the dog. “Better than Michael, eh?” He still remembered how he had been compared to a Chihuahua earlier. He also teased his hairstyle but Michael only passed a hand in his hair to make sure it remained placed as he combed them. “Nothing wrong in wanting to look good,” he merely replied. Bo could tease his ‘metrosexual’ style as much as he wanted, Michael fully assumed it. He paused to think about the shopping though. He didn’t need product but he knew what he should buy and that didn’t really please him. “I don’t know, if you were a man who constantly needed to prove his virility to the world, what would you want for Christmas?” Somehow, Michael believed another cup that said the man was the proud father of a gay boy would be just as well received as the first one.
