Jimmy could see that Spring was well on its way. He liked that. Everything changed during that season. You could see tons of things coming out of the ground as the snow melted away. Plants. He didn't know most of their names but once they would bloom, they always looked nice. Normally, Jimmy wasn’t too good with change, but he learned it was a cycle and he liked to see the cycle going on and on and on. At this point, it was not seeing the bugs waking up and the plants growing that would make him feel uneasy.
Speaking of bugs, he found one that really caught his attention. He had no idea what it was. It was flying but it was not a fly, a butterfly, a bee or a ladybug. Its shell was shining and that was what caught his attention so much. Jimmy had been looking at the plants, wondering if there was not a way to make them grow faster because they didn’t gained in height since yesterday when he looked at them when he noticed the bugs. There were more than one, of course, but this beetle was the one fascinating him. He reached out for the bug, wanting to touch it. As expected, it flew away. Jimmy didn’t mind though, he merely followed it.
As his mind was fixated on the tiny creature, Jimmy was oblivious to everything around him. It probably explained why, when the bug landed on the back of someone’s head, he didn’t think about the fact this was a person who might not be very comfortable with another person touching their hair. And so, Jimmy reached out to try and grab the bug, grabbing some hair in the process. At least he let said hair slip through his fingers. He didn’t care about the hair anyway. He just wanted to see if he finally caught the bug.
