If the Bellefontes were to hold a party, Michael had to be a part of it, whether it was through an invite or by crashing in. This time, he needed to do neither since anyone was welcomed so long as they wore a mask. So Michael made sure to find one in time for the masquerade party. And some nice clothes too. It was a bit frustrating to be so short on money. His parents would argue they gave the same amount to all of their sons, but his brothers didn’t have the same expenses he did. Michael needed to find a job, ideally one that brought in a lot of money with minimal effort. Working sure wasn’t his thing.
It was even less tonight, as he intended to do nothing other than having fun. He had fine clothes, he had the mask, there was a promise of alcohol inside that no doubt he’ll be able to get despite not being the right age, what more could he ask for? A date, true, but there had to be a few fine specimen in there. There should at least be the Bellefonte sons and they were all pretty good looking.
When he arrived, a lot of people were already there. Being fashionably late was a must for Michael. He paid that much attention to his image. He had been circling around the various people there. They seemed to have fun to guess who it was behind the mask. This didn’t interest Michael. Besides, he didn’t need any guess to recognize Destin Bellefonte , mask or no mask. A smirk came to his lips as he moved towards him. He couldn’t spot him just yet, as he was behind the man. “Having fun?” he asked once he reached him. His smile was still on and if you knew him well, then you knew that smile. He was aiming for fun too and he just found himself the pretty boy he’d hang around with. Destin was very handsome and Michael never hid being physically attracted to the young man. “What are you doing here all alone, hiding from someone?”
