Zach didn’t have a very high opinion of dating sites but mutant-only dating sites? Was it really a good idea to cast yourself off like this? Zach didn’t like to put to the forefront his special ability but if papers wanted him to write about mutant-related stuff, he might as well give it a shot.
It was the reason why he was at this bistro tonight. Zach signed in, filled in the application being as honest as a guarded person can be. And then he looked at some profiles. He also got a few messages that he replied to. He shoved away many of them, to be honest. He felt bad for those who were desperate enough to find love here, especially knowing it wasn’t what he was looking for. As for those looking for something casual, while it was probably better for what he was doing, less cruel at least, some could be rather... direct. Anyway, he eventually found someone and a date was settled.
Now, Zach didn't try to hide what he was doing here. He warned her of his profession. It was not a reason not to give this site a chance, even if, added to his skepticism, he had high doubts anything would come out of this. Still, here he was.
A quick glance indicated he arrived first. He chose to wait by the bar. At first, he only ordered water. He was working after all. Sort of. But, as he waited and no one seemed to show, the glass of water turned into a beer. As the drink arrived, he looked at his watched. He tapped his fingers against the counter. She was late.
