Michael never understood what came through people’s mind when they decided to place the mirrors outside of the fitting rooms. They apparently really wanted people to walk out in terrible attires to be told by other people, those paid to make you buy the clothes, just how fabulous you looked, or could look if they arranged this and added that. Some people liked to have the opinion of others. They generally brought in friends for that purpose. A friend had less chance of making you buy something you’d regret later, as that wasn’t their job. Unless you had shitty friends, but that was a whole other matter.
To make things worse, this shop offered clothes for both men and women, having them all to share the fitting rooms. Meaning you could be looking at yourself in the mirror and ponder whether that color suited your complexion or not and find some girl coming out of the room ext to yours with pants that hugged her figure like leggings. Now, Michael could appreciate the sight of a fine ass encased in pants that accentuated the fine aspect of said ass, but there was a limit to it. Not to add that he would have preferred it to be a man standing next to him and turning around to see what that looked like through different angles.
This totally made him lose focus on the shirt he had on, making him no longer able to determine if that was good or not. Through this frustration, it should not be a surprise that he turned towards the woman and claim “Yes, it makes your ass look big.” That comment said, he looked at his reflection again, leaving out a sigh of contentment. What? It was a public service he just did. She brought no friend to tell her that, someone had to.
