Time for class. Piper wasn't really used to having class without her sister, but she had to try. It was loud and unnerving, especially when people kept glancing at her. Nervously taking her seat at the front left, Piper got her book and pens out, ready for the lesson. The teacher turned up late, but when she did turn up, she had her arms full of white card. "Today, class, we'll be starting our planning for our short stories." The teacher beamed. The class groaned. English was one of the most hated subjects, no matter who or where you were, there was always that mutual agreement. Piper didn't mind, if she needed help, she could just ask her sister. "But here's the catch. You have to work in groups to come up with ideas, and you can't get help from anyone outside your group." Everyone groaned again and Piper sunk into her chair. She had to communicate? Why did ANYONE think this was a good idea to keep her separate from her sister? She just hoped she got paired with someone patient and kind.
The teacher began pairing off students and already the class was full of students moving around and chattering about ideas. "And lastly, Piper Belmont and Victoria Verlinden." Piper looked around for anyone without a partner, and sure enough, she spotted the blonde. She quickly and quietly packed up her stuff, and made her way over to Victoria's desk. Piper had a vague idea who Victoria was, but as the two never really met, Piper wasn't sure how this would go. The teacher than handed out the card and left the students to come up with ideas. On the card was a bubble with multiple branches, and in the middle of the bubble was written: Story Ideas.

Vicky wanted to roll her eyes at the English teacher, she hated the type of teachers who were overly friendly and thought they were cool or something, as if anyone other than nerds actually cared about what they were doing, normal people just did their schoolwork in order to pass so they could become something in the future. Of course Victoria’s goals were more about becoming famous, but she did know that a plan B was a good idea.
Groups? Vicky didn’t mind working on groups, it was more fun than working by herself because that meant she could talk to somebody, hopefully she’d be paired up with somebody cool. Piper? Wasn’t that Poppy’s sister? She looked around for her, smiling as she saw her heading towards her “Hi, I’m Victoria but you can call me Vicky, nice to meet you.”
Vicky wondered how alike or different the two sisters were, she did have the impression that Poppy was probably more outgoing, but that was okay, if she was going to get into some group of friends, having a pair of twins in the group would totally be cute. “Are you good at writing stuff?” She asked, hoping she wouldn’t have to do most of the work.

Piper awkwardly waved when greeted. She couldn't exactly introduce herself without speaking... so she just had to hope. Hope that Vicky was nice to her. When asked if she was good at writing things, she tilted her head to one side and thought about it. She was more athletic than creative, but she was okay at it, so she shrugged and did the half-half tilt-shake with her hand. It wasn't the ideal way to communicate, but she hoped it was enough. She was really awkward and scared without her sister and any chance of even a whispered word was currently at 0%. Unless Victoria somehow pushed her buttons or was nice enough, but chances of either happening were low.
Piper stared at the white card in front of them waving her pencil from side to side, thinking of ideas. She wrote down a couple which were social media based fiction, fantasy and her last idea was animal adventure. It sounded dumb in her head, but it was a start at least... right?
