”Oh my god... Snow!” Fiona was so excited about the snow outside, there had been none of that in Australia, this was something she really had been missing. As soon as she got outside she flopped face first into the snow, screaming in a mix of excitement and due to the cold snow getting all over her face, that was not comfortable but she didn’t care, she wiped her face and got onto her back and started making a snow angel.
She suddenly got an idea, it was time to make something fun happen. She started making snowballs, rolling up the balls and making a small pile of them. She decided to taste one of them, she had always been told not to but who cared? She liked ice cubes, so why not snow? Wasn’t it just natural ice flakes really? Well of course who knew what could be in it, but that wasn’t one of her worries right now.
She made her pile of snowballs levitate over to the door to the dorms, she had a plan. It seemed like somebody was opening the door and yes there! “Hi!” She grinned at the person who had just stepped out in the cold “Don’t you just love the snow?! I made an angel!” She said excitedly, while quietly making the pile of snowballs levitate behind the person, then above and then drop right in their head! “Hahaha!” She laughed happily as they got covered in show and probably got some of it down their neck.

He opened his eyes slowly flinching at the bright light he'd left on earlier. Blinking he rubbed the sleep out of them as he sat up looking around his room wondering where the cold crept from. Eyes cleared he spotted the open window and just sat there staring. "When did that happen?" Not like he hadn't done things in his sleep before. The room probably got too hot and he opened it up to cool himself. The chill made his breath wisps of clouds like a tiny dragon.
On his feet he reached over for the window handle to shut it and froze at the sight of all the snow. "Sweeeeeet." Hand dropping without shutting the window he race to shove his feet into shoes then headed out the door. Baggy red shorts, and a tee shirt with Alice Cooper smiling on it the only protection against the snow other than the duct tape covered shoes.
The stairs flew under his feet racing off to get outside. Isolation sucked, and sure he couldn't leave the campus but he could still go outside now. Yanking open the door he nearly ran into a brightly haired girl. "Hies!" He waved enthusiastically at the girl. "Hell to the yes I love snow!" Practically jumping he looked behind the girl to see if he could spot the angel she made. Then icy cold slammed down on him from above. Laughter slammed into him like a truck.
He looked down at the slush that remained of the snowballs. A flip switched inside him and his body heated up the ice melting in seconds before turning to steam. Looking up he grinned sadistically up at her. "Please tell me this means a snowball fight is about to ensue." Tilting his head he let out a short giggle.

Fiona was excited as she saw the boy who had come outside, he wasn’t really dressed for the cold, but she figured she’d help him get inside and get dry and warm if the snow became a problem, so she let the snowballs drop on him anyway. His reaction made her laugh even more, he didn’t seem to mind at all, as the snow melted that totally made sense! She grinned “I don’t know...” she made a snowball that was already laying in the snow fly at him, hitting his chest “I guess so!”
She quickly knelt down in the snow and started making more snowballs as she shouted “I’m Fiona by the way!” She looked at him, to see if he was making snowballs too or not, if he was going to throw any, she’d make a bunch of hers fly up in front of her as a shield as she kept making more, she had done this a billion times before with friends and she had become pretty good at making the snowballs form a shield for her by making them line up in the air in front of her, there was a little space in between them so that she could still watch what he was doing.
This brought back a lot of good memories for Fiona, both with friends from the school and with her, they used to have so much fun in the snow. It would have been nice if her old best friend still went to the school or if her brother could start going, but she was making tons of new friends so she wasn’t unhappy at all.
She loved that he was such a good sport about this, a lot of people might have been upset so how he reacted just made her that much more excited about meeting this new person, she loved meeting all kinds of people, but happy, energetic and fun people were always her favorite kind of people.

The ball hit his chest most crumbling to the ground the rest just melting away. "Sweeeet." As she knelt to gather her ammo he shot outside to start making his own balls. He glanced up to see how quickly she made her snowballs then tried to pick up the pace. It looked like she had some ability with either water tied to floating the snow or just telekinesis. So she had a large advantage over him, but it's not like snowballs hurt or anything. They could if frozen or filled with rocks. But he didn't think either of them were going to do that, though he really wanted to.
"Lucian, but please, please just call me Lucy!" He threw a ball over his shoulder not really caring if it hit her or not. Glancing oer he saw the shield put up with a snot ton of snowballls. Well, that just wasn't fair. Too bad he couldn't send out his heat in waves big enough to melt the shield. Something he would have to work on. Maybe someday he'd get strong enough to even make fire balls or something else suitably useful.
Grabbing two balls he ran and tried to go around the shield throwing them at her. His feet kicked up snow onto his legs and feet the bits of frozen water melting almost instantly. He knew that he couldn't keep his body temperature up this high for long. But how long did snowball fights last anyway? He hadn't been outside to play like this in years, and he wanted to enjoy every minute of it. He rolled to grab another handful of snow hurriedly throwing it at her. "Hey, love the hair by the way! You do it yourself?"
