Lianne’s hearing are enhanced. She can hear above the average human. Any sound can be heard from a 6 mile radius. A certain sound can be focused on if the target is within sight. Her hearing is that of a dolphin’s. She has a broader range of frequencies than humans. She can hear up to 100 Khz.
Once in awhile she will unplug her earplugs and listen to footsteps. Because of that, she is able to tell exactly who is coming just by the steps they take.
When she is focusing on a certain sound, her eyes will roll to the back and you will only see her whites.
LIMITATIONS:
She cannot turn it off. If she hears high-pitched noises she will shrivel into the ground. She must wear earplugs to shut it off.
Although she wears earplugs, certain frequencies between 90-100 Khz can still be heard.
SIDE-EFFECTS:
If used for more than 10 minutes, she will develop a splitting headache and black out. She is also able to speak in sign language so is able to ‘translate’ for people who don’t understand.
Sometimes the back of her eyes will hurt when she leaves her earplugs in for too long due to the pressure difference between her body and the outside.♦ THE CHARACTER ♦

MISC: She has multiple scratches on her body due to the times she heard high pitched noises. Her nails will dig into her skin and she will bleed. Her scars cannot heal fully.
PERSONALITY: Lianne looks like she is listening to you most of the time but in actual fact, she is reading your lips and just replying (she often wears earplugs because of her hearing sensitivity).
She can speak in sign language and prefers to do so when she doesn't feel comfortable around people. She isolates herself from crowds often and prefers to hide in the woods and read a book.
With her sensitive hearing she has a bad habit of eavesdropping on conversations when she's bored but sometimes she ends up hearing people talk about her.
SECRET(S): She really wants to be able to listen to nature without getting a splitting headache after a while due to the noises clashing.
She never believed in supernatural beings before she found out she was one.♦ THE HISTORY ♦
Growing up, Lianne has never had a problem doing things a normal kid would do. She had a decent family who loved her and would do anything to take care of her and would make sure that she was safe. Without a shout of a doubt, Lianne would be dubbed someone who had a perfect life. She enjoyed playing outside with her older siblings and they pampered her. The only problem was, they never let her out into the woods.
At the age of 13, Lianne was walking through the woods alone out of curiosity while everyone was asleep. She walked deeper and deeper into the woods when suddenly everything sounded loud and it threw her off. Losing her balance she fell to the floor while trying to cover her ears. They felt like they were bleeding and she started to scream. Her nails dug themselves into her skin and tore them. She was bleeding all over and after what felt like an eternity, her oldest brother Kane came to her rescue.
Placing his hand on her head and asking her to focus on him, he put her into a deep slumber. Lianne woke up three days later with her wounds sewn up and her mother sleeping on the chair beside her bed. She got up in pain and her family quickly came in. They tried to explain to her while she refuse to believe them and swore that they were mad.
Her oldest brother told her that the reason they never let her out was because they spelled the house so that her hearing would be suppressed. He could hypnotise people and that's how he put her to sleep. He promised that it was all in the name of keeping her safe.
Ever since that day, she hadn't been able to listen to music without getting a splitting headache. She constantly carries around meds to counter the pain. A month later she was taken into Bellefonte academy. She learned sign language and did mostly self studying due to the fact that she can't hear a thing the teachers say. She stayed there for the rest of her school years and learned to control it but at times they still go out of hand.
At age 15 she started writing a blog and an online book with the nickname Penny Pinch which gained massive popularity. No one knows that Lianne and Penny are the same people and she prefers to keep it that way. She's in her final year of high school and she still feels like she isn't ready for anything the world has to give her.♦ THE PLAYER ♦
