Emma felt a bit piggish for being the only one eating candy, but she could just save the rest for later. The skittles were good enough for her at the moment. Fruity sweetness a rainbow on the tongue just like the commercial claimed. It wasn't dark chocolate covered espresso beans but then again that's apples and oranges right there. Besides if she ate those right now she'd never get any sleep.
"No need to thank me." She smiled putting the rest of the candy away into her back pack. "Now I can write my paper with ease." A short giggle escaped her and it caught her off guard. Not that she wasn't a happy person that never laughed it just didn't happen much here. Ever since leaving her best friend back home that is.
Joining in on the laughter she nodded at the last question picking up her bag. "Yeah, it's not like I can leave." That came out wrong. Emma grimace a bit hoping the girl would just ignore it. "Have a good night." Sweet smile in place she turned to go knowing she had a long night of cleaning ahead of her. At least the study session had gone well .

"Glad to hear that. Good luck on the paper," she said with a pleased smile. She did not think too much about what Emma last said before saying good night, instead she waved at her. "You too. Night, Emma," she said just before the other girl turned to leave.
Not long later, a satisfied Lara Jean took the book to the front desk to check it out. She had a light dinner at the cafeteria before heading to her dorm for some reading.
The impromptu study session she figured had benefited both of them. Which was pretty good because when Lara Jean came into the library earlier, she had not even expected to get the book what more a little quiz time. She considered it luck to have met Emma.
