An African heritage but born and raised in the UK, Oneyka has only really known the socialite life up until she discovered that she was a mutant. Her father died while she was young and her mother has been a supermodel for quite some time but hasn't done much as of yet. Onnie first attended St. Bethany for her full first year until the news of her mother being remarried to her new "beau". Onnie requested a transfer to the States (Bellefonte) due to not being able to handle the news.
While personalities are known to change overtime, Onnie has always been the kind to stand up for the underdogs. Never rude to anyone but often doesn't hesitate to defend herself since she's amazing with words. Onnie may be smart, dedicated, thoughtful, and passionate she's also straight-forward, ignorant when it comes to stuff she isn't used to doing (aka cooking), and is used to getting things her way or trying to change something until it ends up being how she wanted it to. Not to mention, she can be a bit cheeky at times.

Malia was adopted as a baby and never knew her biological parents. Instead, she was raised an only child by two mothers in LA. Malia has always been sort of tomboyish by heart but sort of changed that by the time she was in her second year at Bellefonte, due to wanting to look more like girls her age now a days. Despite wanting to look the part, Malia is still heavily into video games, sci-fi and science and can spend hours on end by herself just as long as she has some sort of tech with her (computer, cell, etc).
She can be sociable and friendly but can be a bit sassy, which she doesn't ever really apologize for. She just figures that if you don't like it, you'll eventually leave her be... but if you don't mind it, she considers you great company. Malia is the tech head you never knew you needed, and a friend you never thought you wanted.
