Erika's ability works in that way that she can lift anything she can physically lift, and the stronger she is mentally, the further she can push that boundary. Basically, telekinesis is a mental ability which relies on mental strength and willpower, and the stronger one is mentally, the more one is capable of lifting.
When the ability comes in contact with skin, it feels like an almost prickling sensation - as if said body part is slowly going numb, without actually doing so. Her power is also at its strongest when Erika is emotional and to her, it feels kind of like having a second personality, as the power itself often acts out on her subconsciousness.
Erika can use her power to keep objects/beings from moving, lifting objects/hovering them in the air, touching/strangling/pushing/lifting others, to pull objects towards the user or to push objects away from the user, e.g. yanking a book off a shelf or sliding a cup across a table.
LIMITATIONS:
- Can only lift objects she can physically (and mentally) lift. She wouldn't be able to lift anything as heavy as a car, but lifting chairs and throwing them around is something she'd be able to do with ease.
- Psychic strength may be proportional to user's capacity, meaning an opponent with physical strength stronger than the user's mental strength may break free, or even be immune to the ability altogether.
- She can only use her ability on objects or people within viewing distance. The further away, the more she'd have to concentrate.
- The more she uses her power and the more she pushes the natural boundaries, the quicker her energy will be drained.
SIDE-EFFECTS:
- Headaches that can turn into migraines if pushed, that could potentially lead to nose bleeds, nausea and worst case scenario; brain bleeds.
- Restlessness along with drained energy. This can sometimes lead to insomnia or needing several hours of sleep. It's a double-edged sword, really.

PERSONALITY: To anyone who don't know or have just met Erika, all they'll be met with is a front. This front can either be pleasant and friendly - or cold and detached. However, both of these fronts have something very important in common; they're both fake portrayals of the girl hiding underneath. Despite her sometimes sarcastic and witty demeanor, there's a whole different girl hiding underneath;
An insecure, smart and adventurous young woman. Though, what Erika has in brains, she lacks in courage. She'd much rather be the kind of person everyone expect her to be, than being herself. Simply because it's easier to live up to people's expectations than daring to stand up for herself.
Erika has the kind of passion she doesn't quite know where to place. She has attempted several things, such as piano playing and drawing/painting, both of which she has found herself excelling at - as well as various sports and other activities - most of which she has started, not liked and quit and therefore become known as somewhat of a quitter and a flight risk.
When it comes to love, Erika has had plenty of opportunities and significant others, though, most of which (despite some being lengthy) has been shallow and the young woman has always bounced at the first sign of any serious commitment.
SECRET(S): Despite being pansexual, Erika hasn't openly admitted nor come to terms with it. It's not something she outright feels ashamed about, but it's more a matter of confusion than anything else. And therefore, the young brunette has seemingly always preferred men, although it doesn't (technically) make much of a difference.♦ THE HISTORY ♦
Born into the Bellefonte family along with her twin, Erika knew from a young age that she'd once attend the academy her family once helped create. With a father who was mostly absent (due to working) and a mother so overbearing it would make just about anyone run for the hills - Erika had a fairly normal childhood. Despite being born into money, Erika and her siblings didn't necessarily get everything served on a silver platter.
From the moment Erika entered school at the age of five, 'til the moment she turned eleven, Erika's school life was like any other child her age. Unlike many other mutants, though, Erika knew exactly what future had in store for her. Around the time she turned eleven, Erika manifested her powers (a few days after her twin) and within a week, she had transferred school and was a student at Bellefonte Academy.
And suddenly, Erika was met with a lot more freedom than what she'd ever had before.
Mostly thanks to her last name (although the name itself is more for show) Erika quickly made friends. She thrived in her new community and along with it, Erika learned the ways of fitting in in a community that she learned how to 'rule'. Her days became busy day to day routines involving school work, parties and honing her abilities, which continued throughout her years at Bellefonte and even more so as she entered her first year of college.♦ THE PLAYER ♦
